It doesn't matter how old they are to drive you crazy enough to distract you from your work. My husband & daughter constantly pick on each other till it makes me want to put them both in time out. I don't have any writing projects yet but plan on starting a blog soon & I don't know what I'm going to do about those two...lol! Hubby considers the laptop "his", so it looks like I run off & hide with a pen & notebook to jot ideas down while they wear each other down! Sorry so long a post. I'm very sorry to hear about your husband's parents. Health problems are no fun. My grandma is currently under the care of hospice, so I feel your pain :( Four year olds' are fun but do require a lot of attention. I hope you'll get some "me-time" to write soon. Things have been crazy on my end, too. My husband just lost his Dad 2 months ago and now he's in NY again because his Mom had a massive heart attack and had to have 3 stents and a ballon put in. My 4-year-old demands a lot of attention so writing has been put on hold. I'm glad to hear that your house is being renovated to make access easier for you - hope that more good things happen for you in the new year! Having a family to care for is hard work.
