I belong to the same school of thought like you do, in my primary school, it was common to punish students whose mark was less than mine, i did not know the reason, was is it that i was supposed to be the last in class.

The issues you are talking of are so severe in Africa, stereotyping is too much, i have a friend who uses crutches and callipers, he has a degree in bachelor of science, a post graduate diploma in Information Technology and he is finalising a masters in the same, he has no job because my companies feel there is some thing wrong with him, that is the position in Uganda.

Many disabled lawyers like me are not employed, merely apprearing with a wheelchair is enough to fail you.

Your views are spot on i hope we can keep in touch

I love you for writing this. I have a disability where I do use a wheelchair most of the time to get around because walking is to difficult and painful. Plus, my disability causes my joints to be very weak so walking can get dangerous.
I still have sex and enjoy being human. I just want to live my life like anyone else. I don't want to be stared at when I'm at the store or be told I am different than everyone else because of my disability. Mine doesn't define me at all, it just makes life a little more interesting as I find new ways to manage life everyday.
Thanks for writing this and sharing that link. You are amazing. Keep doing what you're doing.
