Dominick Evans is a director/writer, activist, Twitch streamer, and speaker with a BFA in Film. He fights for inclusion in media, marriage equality, gaming, and reproductive rights. Dominick founded #FilmDis, a Twitter chat about Disability in media. He works with businesses to make them more inclusive of all disabled people.

Dominick’s work delves into inclusion in media, sex education for Disabled/LGBTQIA youth, marriage equality, institutional bias, and reproductive rights. In 2014, he founded #FilmDis, a Twitter chat about Disability in media.

Dominick is a prolific public speaker who has spoken at places around the world. He does video editing and helps businesses become more inclusive. Dominick is on the board of Not Dead Yet. He spends a lot of time streaming podcasts and gaming on Twitch – exploring accessibility and access.

Dominick’s first love is film and television, and much of his work revolves around the inclusion of disabled and other marginalized people in all forms of media. In 2014, he founded the Twitter chat #FilmDis, a monthly discussion on disability representation. That has evolved into FilmDis, a media monitoring organization currently working on its first research study into disability representation.

Through streaming, Dominick explores representation, gender, reproductive rights, and sexuality on his weekly Twitch podcasts – Inebriated Activism, DISrupt the Media, F*ed Up Films, and Under the Covers with Dominick. He also uses his Twitch and YouTube channels to educate people about accessible gaming, as well as other disability related issues. Beyond that he does video editing work, and helps people understand social media.
